SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Council of the City of Toledo, by Resolution No. 388-25 adopted on August 12, 2025 declaring its intent to vacate the 14 feet wide alley running North and South abutting Lot 179 and the North 15 feet of Lot 178 in Heffner's Addition, located in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.
On October 9, 2025, the Toledo City Plan Commission recommended approval of the request for the vacation of a portion of property within Whittlesey's Addition, all within the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.
The City Council Zoning and Planning Committee on November 13, 2025, sent as approved the request for the vacation the 14 feet wide alley running North and South abutting Lot 179 and the North 15 feet of Lot 178 in Heffner's Addition, located in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.
The Board of Revision met on January 22, 2026 and approved the request for vacation of the 14 feet wide alley running North and South abutting Lot 179 and the North 15 feet of Lot 178 in Heffner's Addition, located in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.
All of the preliminary steps have been taken as required by law, the Charter of the City of Toledo, and the Toledo Plan Commission has made reports regarding the proposed vacations; and all things required by law to be done, have been done. Fees totaling $137.80 have been paid.
