SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Division of Engineering and Construction Management is relocating office space from the third floor to the second floor of 600 Jefferson Avenue, Toledo, OH 43604. In doing so a new network is required to be installed on the floor to provide network and internet connectivity for end user devices, conference room equipment and telephony equipment. Data cabling including network drops for computers and telephones, relocation of data fiber from third floor to second floor, relocation of PRI equipment for telephones and data cabinet storage equipment needs to be installed on second floor of office space to provide City of Toledo network services. Due to the timeframe of the project and a move in date scheduled for January, an informal bidding process was utilized and the lowest bid was chosen, waiving the competitive bidding process. The services include the installation and implementation services of new cabling, data fiber, PRI equipment and wall data cabinet storage will not exceed $115,000.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into an agreement with Chapel-Romanoff Technologies, LLC (CRT) to provide network and internet connectivity for end user devices upon such terms and conditions as the mayor may deem requisite and proper, subject to approval by the Department of Law and the Director of the Department of Transportation.
