SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 254-19 authorizes the Mayor to enter into a contract with Enterprise Fleet Management for vehicle and equipment lease replacement program for the city's fleet. Fleet Operations will continue to utilize this contract to lease pick-up trucks and SUVs for the Division's day-to-day operations. Ordinance 254-19 authorizes a five (5) year agreement with a five (5) year renewal which will expire May of 2029.
This Ordinance will represent the department of Public Service (Facility and Fleet Operations, Urban Beautification, Land Maintenance, Forestry), Public Works (Engineering Services, Road & Bridge Maintenance, Traffic Management), and the Plan Commission.
New legislation will be presented annually as the program changes to meet the needs of the Departments and the Divisions.

Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That an amount not to exceed $350,000 is authorized for expenditure from the Fleet Municipal Garage Fund Account Code 7086-25000-1146001STDSTD for the lease vehicles for Fleet Operations pursuant to the existing agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management.

SECTION 2. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw their warrant or warrants against the Account Code in Section 1 in payment of the above authorized obligations upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers in an amount not to exceed $350,000.

SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that the same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health...
