SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Planning and design of the Bay View Water Reclamation Facility (BVWRF) Improvement Program is well underway which has identified a portion of Parcel Number 0238991, adjacent to the Reynolds Area Pump Station at 4150 Airport Highway that needs to be acquired in order to renovate or replace the pump station. The Division of Engineering and Construction contracted with West Erie Realty Solutions, Inc. in 2025 to perform various real estate acquisition services as authorized by Ordinance 11-24. This Ordinance authorizes the expenditure of appropriated loan funds for property acquisition, and authorizes supplementing West Erie's contract for property acquisition services associated with the BVWRF Improvement Program.
Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $125,000 is authorized from Account Code 673L-36000-4UL0725STDSTD for the purchase of real property interests and property acquisition services for the acquisition of a portion of Parcel Number 0238991 for the Bay View Water Reclamation Facility Improvement Program.
