SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Division of Water Reclamation (Division) contracted with Arcadis to perform Program Management of the Water Reclamation Facility Improvement Program under Ordinance 96-25. One of the improvements, Improvement 76, is a high priority project of the Program and is ready to move to final design.

The Facility Plan Program includes provisions for roughly 15% of design projects to be completed by design services outside of the Program Management Team to help assure that firms outside of this core have opportunities to participate in the program improvements. Improvement 76 was identified as one of the 15% projects. Proposals were solicited and Ribway Engineering Group was selected for these design services.

This ordinance will authorize entering into a loan agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA) Water Pollution Control Loan Fund and Ohio Water Development Authority and appropriating loan proceeds in an amount of $1,020,00 to cover design services. Authorization for the expenditure of this project was already passed under Ordinance 388-26.
