SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City of Toledo has been awarded funding and is invited to enter into a grant agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) for a H2Ohio grant in the amount of $250,000 to be used for the Hill Ditch stream restoration project at Bandore Park. This ordinance authorizes the acceptance, deposit, appropriation and expenditure of up to $250,000 in grant proceeds from OEPA.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a grant agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for the Hill Ditch stream restoration project at Bandore Park, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Law.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to accept and deposit grant proceeds from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in an amount not to exceed $250,000 into the Operation Grants Fund, Account Code 2016-38000-6GA8577STDSTD, for the purpose of completing work necessary to administer the grant.

SECTION 3. That the appropriation from the unappropriated grant proceeds in an amount not to exceed $250,000 is authorized from the Operation Grants Fund into Account Code 2016-38000-6GA8577STDSTD; and further authorizing the expenditure of same for the H...
