Title
Authorizing the appropriation and expenditure of $30,000 from the Water Replacement Fund for the LSPS Lift Station Pump Replacement; authorizing the Mayor to accept bids and award contracts for LSPS Lift Station Pump Replacement; the and declaring an emergency.

Body
SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The existing pumps at the Low Service Pump Station lift station have reached the end of their service life and are no longer operating at optimal efficiency. Frequent breakdowns, reduced flow capacity, and increased maintenance costs have significantly impacted system reliability and performance. These aging pumps pose a risk of failure, which could lead to service disruptions, environmental compliance issues, sanitary issues, and costly emergency repairs.
To ensure continuous and efficient wastewater management, it is necessary to replace the outdated pumps with new, energy-efficient models. Upgrading the pumps will improve system reliability, reduce operating costs, and support long-term infrastructure sustainability.
