SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance authorizes expending an amount not to exceed $100,000 from the appropriated CIP funds for building and road improvements at Forest Cemetery. Improvements may include but are not limited to; road repaving/replacement, and the replacement of the roof at the maintenance building, and the removal of some sheds/small buildings. Funds are available for expenditure from the approved Capital Improvement Fund budget.

Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That an amount not to exceed $100,000 is authorized for expenditure from the Capital Improvement Fund, Account Code 5040-26100-8CP2405CEMIMP for road and building improvements at Forest Cemetery.

SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to accept bids and award contracts for the improvements specified in Section 1, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Public Service and the Director of Law.

SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw their warrant or warrants against the Account Code in Section 1 in payment of the above authorized obligations in an amount not to exceed $100,000 upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that the same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for further reason that the Ordinance must be immed...
