SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance appropriates $5,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund to complete the purchase and installation of work stations for the City Council secretary area. This will enable the project budget to be consolidated under one project account. Expenditure authority for this purchase was approved through Ordinance 173-24.
Summary
NOW THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the appropriation of $5,000 is authorized from the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement Fund to Account Code 5040-10100-8CP2335CONFUR for the purchase and installation of City Council secretary area work stations.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in force and effect from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and property and for the further reason that the ordinance must be immediately effective in order to purchase work stations for the City Council secretary area.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for the further reason that this ordinance must be immediately effective in order to provide timely sponsorship support for the event.
