SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City of Toledo is entering into a contractual agreement to use SWPPPTrackPro software and servers for its environmental compliance and enforcement activities as required by the City's NPDES permit. The use of this software will allow for more timely notifications of violations to property owners and/or construction responsible parties, automate documentation of correspondence of said violations and resolutions, and save staff time by working with a comprehensive software package specifically designed to handle these types of tasks. The first year of the three-year contract is in the amount of $26,479, including a one-time set up fee of $4,999.

Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a three-year software license agreement with two three-year renewal options with Storm Water Simplified, Ltd for the purchase of SWPPPTrackPro, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Law.

SECTION 2. That subject to future appropriations the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $27,000 annually is authorized for the contract authorized in Section 1 from the Storm Water Operating Fund, Account code 607A-38000-4000552STDSTD.
