SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The Collins Park Water Treatment Plant utilizes a SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system to monitor and control all automation in the plant. The Plant provides potable water for 500,000 consumers in the region, and therefore reliable, knowledgeable, and local professional support services for the SCADA System at Collins Park is critical to the success of the region.

Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That an expenditure not exceed $50,000 annually from the Water Operating Fund is authorized from Account Code 6060-32000-4000505STDSTD a SCADA system support agreement, subject to future years budget appropriations.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to accept bids an award a contract for a term of no more than three (3) years, with an option to renew for an additional two (2) years, for a SCADA system support agreement upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Public Utilities and the Director of Law.
SECTION 3. That the Director of Finance is authorized to issue their warrant or warrants against the account code listed in Section 1 in an amount not to exceed $50,000 annually in payment of the obligations authorized above upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.
