Summary

Centered around the historic intersection of Reynolds Road and Dorr Street, this crossroads community has grown into one of Toledo's largest residential districts. Originally part of Adams Township, Reynolds Corners was annexed by the City of Toledo in 1966, bringing expanded municipal services and accelerating suburban development.

Reynolds Corners is known for combining suburban residential living with strong commercial corridors. The community also benefits from access to green space and recreation in the nearby Toledo Botanical Garden and Swan Creek Preserve Metropark, major roadways such as Interstate 475 and Airport Highway make this area a navigable and logistically advantageous area for business development.

As an important residential and commercial area of the city, Reynolds Corners is a targeted area for future economic development. Proper planning and attention to the factors which influence economic development here should be fully analyzed and documented. The study requested by this legislation will prove valuable for local government officials, potential developers and local residents, alike.
