SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 674-23 authorized the expenditure of $29,256.28 from the Capital Improvement Fund for the purchase of work stations for the City Council secretary area. This Ordinance repeals Ordinance 674-23 to authorize additional funding to complete the purchase and to consolidate funding under one project account.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That attached Ordinance 674-23 is repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2. That the expenditure of $30,000 is authorized from the Capital Improvement Fund Account Code 5040-10100-8CP2335CONFUR for the purchase and installation of City Council secretary area work stations.
SECTION 3. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a contract utilizing State Term contract pricing for the purpose authorized above, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Law and the Clerk of Council.
SECTION 4. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw warrant or warrants against the above referenced Account Code in payment of the obligation authorized above in an amount not to exceed $30,000 upon presentation of proper voucher or vouchers.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in force and effect from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety, and property and for the further reason that the ordinance must be immediately effective in order to purchase work stations for the City Council secretary area.
