While the city does have third party hardware support, the city is no longer receiving updates and software patches. In addition, the city does not have the ability to add additional storage as data needs continue to grow.

The City sought competitive bids for the procurement and implementation of a new data storage solution to replace the current EMC solution that was purchased in 2014. CBTS's proposed integration of the Pure Storage product to facilitate this replacement was the lowest and best bid received. CBTS offered the needed implementation services at a total cost of $162,243.69, which includes all needed hardware, installation of the same, and maintenance for a three-year period.

The migration of the City's current data and subsequent disposal of the existing hardware will be completed by the City's current Network, Security & Infrastructure Support vendor, New Era Technology, at a cost not to exceed $20,000.
