SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Toledo City Council has received numerous complaints regarding the absence of lighting along Angola Road. It has been determined that the existing street lighting is not adequate. This legislation proposes to install street lights to illuminate Angola road by (4) 130w LED street lighting on wood poles to protect their properties and provide nighttime safety.

The total annual cost for the operation and maintenance of the lighting is $664.68 of which the City's share is $20.89.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That it is determined to in proceed with the improvement of the following lots and lands by installing street lighting, as described below, pursuant to the authority cited below and in accordance with Resolution No. 131-18, adopted on April 10, 2018, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and estimates heretofore approved and on file in the Office of Engineering Services:

A. Angola Road from Wenz Road to Chicory Drive by installing (4) 130w LED on wood poles with overhead service.

SECTION 2. That the following lots and lands are specifically benefited by said improvement, and each shall be assessed at the rate per assessed front foot indicated, representing that part of the cost of lighting said street as above described:

A. All lots and lands bounding and abutting Angola Road from Wenz Road to Chicory Drive assessed at the rate of ($0.158) per assessed front foot.

SECTION 3. That the costs related to this improvement shall be levied and assessed annually in accordance with the assessing Ordinance hereafter to be passed by the Council, and shall be certified to the County Auditor to be placed upon the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes.
