Title

Granting a waiver of Toledo Municipal Code Sections 1103.1510 and 1107.0203 to allow a new off-street parking lot in the Warehouse District at 27-29 N. Huron Street, in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio; and declaring an emergency.

Body

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

The developer for the building and loading area for the property located at 27-29 N. Huron Street, formerly Okun Produce, is requesting a waiver of TMC 1103.1510 and 1107.0203 to allow for new off-street parking.  The developer plans demolition of the loading dock and the addition of more surface parking in that area.

While the proposed development includes new surface parking within the footprint of the demolished loading dock, it will actually reduce the total number of parking spaces from 20 to 14.
