SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This Ordinance authorizes the acceptance of an additional $22,838.97 from FEMA for subrecipient management costs associated with the City's BRIC grant for Wright Avenue. The original ordinance (O-043-25) authorized the City to accept $931,153 in grant funds for the project, but did not include the subrecipient management costs. Per the grant agreement, FEMA has awarded subrecipient management costs in the amount of $22,838.97 to help off-set the costs of project implementation. These funds are 100% Federal and do not require a local match.
Summary
NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 and Section 2 of Ordinance 043-25, which reads as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a grant agreement with the Ohio Emergency Management Agency and accept and deposit a grant in the amount of $931,153 into the Capital Improvement Fund Account Code 540G-23100-8GA8645STDSTD for the Wright Avenue embankment stabilization project.
SECTION 2. That the appropriation of $931,153 is authorized from the unappropriated grant proceeds of the Capital Improvement Fund to Account Code 540G-23100-8GA8645STDSTD and expenditure of the same is authorized for the Wright Avenue embankment stabilization project.

SECTION 2. That a new Section 1 and Section 2 of ordinance 043-25 are enacted to read as follows:
