The City of Toledo has filed a request to vacate the alleys north of Western Avenue and east of Linden Street, located in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved that:
SECTION 1: That the City Council does hereby declare its intent to vacate the alleys north of Western Avenue and east of Linden Street, located in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, further described below:
Legal Description of Proposed Vacation of East-West Alley (having 12.30 feet wide Right-of-Way) and a North-South Alley (having 11.66 feet wide Right-of-Way per Plat) located in River Tract Number 5 of the Township 3, United States Reserve of the Twelve Miles Square at the foot of the Rapids of the Miami of Lake Erie all in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, being bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the Intersection of the North Right-of-Way line of Western Ave. and the Southeast corner of Lot# 53 in the "Extension of Car Factory Addition" as recorded in the Lucas County Recorder's Office, in Volume 2A, Page 51 in the Book of Plats, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Thence North on the East property line of said Lot# 53 to the Northeast property corner of said Lot# 53.
Thence West on the North property lines of Lots# 53 thru 49 to a point on the East Right-of-Way line of Linden Place also being the Northwest property corner of said Lot# 49.
Thence North on said East Right-of-Way line of Linden Place to a point on the South line of Lot# 54 also being the Southwest property corner of said Lot# 54.
Thence East on the South property line of Lot# 54 extended to a point on the West property line of Lot# 351 in the "Daniels Addition" as recorded in the Lucas ...
