Referral Response:
The merger occurred after our budget was submitted for 2026 as it was late in the year. We did, however, request that the remaining balance be carried forward for 2026 so we could pay the remaining 50% ($145,899). It's not our practice to give advances for the full amount before the work is complete. Otherwise, we run the risk of an organization receiving the funds and not completing the requirements of the agreement. We are not suggesting that Leading Family Homes or any organization in particular would do so, but we do not want to run that situation.
