SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 275-23 authorized the Real Estate Purchase, Sale, and Development Agreement with the Board of Education for the Washington Local School District for a portion of property located at 1936 Northover Road. As part of this agreement, since a portion of the property is a delineated wetlands area, and in support of Washington Local's water resource education objectives, the City has agreed to construct a boardwalk on the parcel as part of the property and wetlands restoration upon completion of the Water Distribution System Improvements.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the project listed below in the Water Replacement Fund is reduced of encumbrances and disappropriated.

SECTION 2. That an amount not to exceed $900,000 is appropriated from the unappropriated balance of Water Replacement Fund into Account Code 6063-32000-4UC6223STDSTD; and further authorizing the expenditure of same for the construction of a boardwalk at 1936 Northover Road.

SECTION 3. That the mayor is authorized to accept bids, and execute all necessary agreements for this portion of the Water Distribution System Improvements Project as acceptable to the Department of Law.
