Celebrating and recognizing October 5 thru October 9 as Customer Service Week 2020.
Summary
WHEREAS, in 1992, Congress proclaimed Customer Service Week a nationally recognized event, celebrated annually during the first full week in October; and
WHEREAS, during the week of October 5 thru October 9, the City of Toledo will join organizations in all 50 states and 60 countries in celebrating Customer Service Week, recognizing the importance of customer service excellence to their organizations; and
WHEREAS, this year’s customer service week theme is “Dream Team,” which distinguishes that the internal and external customer experience in 2020 has been like no other and while working through challenging times, the city’s commitment to customers remains a priority; and
WHEREAS, the City of Toledo identifies the importance of customer service as a strategic priority of the administration, and creation of the Employee Engagement Committee; NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the Toledo City Council hereby celebrates and recognizes October 5 thru October 9 as Customer Service Week 2020.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after the earliest date allowed by law.
