SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This ordinance authorizes the total three-year expenditure of $105,000 with Netlucent, Inc. for gang intelligence software. This ordinance authorizes the acceptance, deposit, appropriation, and expenditure of $17,500 from a Northern Ohio Violent Crimes Consortium Ohio Violent Crime Reduction grant 2022-VCR-A02-371. This ordinance authorizes the total expenditure of $87,500 from the general fund for gang intelligence software subject to future appropriations. Competitive bidding was conducted on Planet Bids and Netlucent, Inc. was the winning bidder.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a grant agreement with the Northern Ohio Violent Crimes Consortium and to accept and deposit Violent Crime Reduction grant for $17,500 into the Operation Grants Fund Account Code 2016-52000-3G00086STDSTD.

SECTION 2. That the appropriation of $17,500 is authorized from the unappropriated grant proceeds of the Operation Grants Fund to Account Code 2016-52000-3G00086STDSTD; and further authorizing the expenditure of same for gang intelligence software.
