SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The American Water Works Association is an international not-for-profit and educational society which advances public health, safety and welfare by uniting the efforts of the full spectrum of stakeholders from throughout the water processing and distribution community. This ordinance authorizes payment of the membership dues for 2021 for the Department of Public Utilities. Funds are provided in the 2021 Operating Budget for this purpose.
