Title

Authorizing the mayor to enter into an amended agreement with Cityworks PLL for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Cityworks PLL software implementation; authorizing the expenditure of $45,000 from the Information Technology Fund for said programs and services; and declaring an emergency.

Body
SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 367-20 authorized the expenditure of funds for the implementation of Cityworks PLL (Permits Land and Licensing) and associated software and integration, including the public-facing permit application portal. In October 2023 Ordinance 529-23 was approved to include an additional department in the implementation. These implementation efforts include a four (4) week User Acceptance Testing (UAT) period to validate the product's functionality. During this initial UAT period, several changes were identified that would create a more user-friendly experience for residents, and additional time is needed to further test and refine these changes. This ordinance authorizes extended UAT to further allow testers to identify and correct any additional issues with the software. This implementation project was initially competitively bid in accordance with Toledo Municipal Code Chapter 187.
