SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

There is $51,075 remaining in the landfill’s 2025 CIP equipment account from realized cost savings.  The Division of Solid Waste is requesting to reallocate and expend these resources on critical infrastructure improvements to maintain operational compliance. These improvements include a combination of leachate management and Gas Collection and Control.

SECTION 2.  That an amount not to exceed $51,075 is authorized from the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement Fund to Account Code 5040-24500-8CP2418LNDCEL and expenditure of same is authorized for infrastructure improvements.

SECTION 3.                     That the Mayor is authorized to accept bids and award contracts for the purposes specified in Section 1, upon terms and conditions as approved by the Director of Law and the Director of Public Service.

SECTION 4.
