Summary

NOW THEREFORE Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That an amount not to exceed $25,000 is authorized for expenditure from the Nuisance Abatement Trust Fund Account Code 2090-16100-5T31306STDSTD for the emergency repairs related to demolition work at 3032 Warsaw St.

SECTION 3. That this Council finds and determines that it is in the best interest of the City to waive the competitive bidding requirements of Toledo Municipal Code Chapter 187 due to the emergent conditions caused in part by the extreme cold weather.

SECTION 4. That the Director of Finance is authorized to draw their warrant or warrants against the Account Code in Section 1 in payment of the above-authorized obligations in an amount not to exceed $25,000 upon presentation of the proper voucher or vouchers.

SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
