SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Facility Operation has encountered a steady increase in capital needs over the past few months in several of our city owned structures including the Municipal Garage.
The Municipal Court tunnel project bids came in under the original projected budget. Facility Operations would like to move some of the remaining balance to the Facility Operations Capital Improvement Program Fund.
This ordinance authorizes the re-appropriation of budget within the Capital Improvement Fund from the Municipal Court Tunnel to Facilities improvements.
The fiscal impact of this ordinance is as follows:

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the disappropriation in the amount of $600,000 is authorized from the Capital Improvement Fund, Account Code 5040-26100-8CP2115CCMTUN.
SECTION 2. That the sum of $600,000 is authorized for appropriation from the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvement Fund to Account Code 5040-26100-8CP2142FACILI for various building repairs and material and equipment purchases.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that the same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property.
