Title

Authorizing the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $18,000 for additional costs for the 2024-2025 Linko web-based services from the Water and Sewer Operating Funds; and declaring an emergency.

Body

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

Ordinance 433-21 authorized entering into contract for Linko web-based services. However due to delays in implementation, the services did not begin until 2022 and thus additional costs were incurred due to annual increases. Web-based Linko is an online platform that provides faster, upgraded performance to continue tracking permit violations, laboratory analytical results, and organize critical data on all Industrial Pretreatment facilities permitted by Environmental Services.  After extensive investigation by the IT Department and Environmental Services, using a web-based server continues to provide the best possible functionality. The Division of Environmental Services uses this intricate database for all permit required recordkeeping on Industrial Pretreatment facilities.
