WHEREAS, Josephine’s Kitchen, opened in September 2011, is located in the Vistula District and is a culinary gem known for its soulful flavors and warm hospitality; and
WHEREAS, admired by locals and visitors alike, Josephine’s Kitchen has earned a stellar reputation as a haven for comfort food enthusiasts; and
WHEREAS, Josephine’s Kitchen provides culinary expertise with a passion for community and has garnered praise from patrons far and wide; and
WHEREAS, customer reviews rave about the mouthwatering dishes, attentive service, and cozy ambiance that define the Josephine’s experience, exclaiming: “Josephine’s Kitchen is a hidden treasure in Toledo! From their savory fried chicken to their decadent macaroni and cheese, every bite is pure delight.” and “I cannot say enough good things about Josephine’s Kitchen. The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff treats you like family. A must-visit if you’re in Toledo!”; and
WHEREAS, renowned for its welcoming family atmosphere, Josephine’s has been a favorite haunt for those seeking comfort and culinary excellence. Josephine’s Kitchen has also attracted a roster of famous patrons over the years; and
WHEREAS, notable personalities who have enjoyed the flavors of Josephine’s include the former Toledo Mayors, Mike Bell and Paula Hicks- Hudson; also, the late Bishop Rance Allen was spotted savoring Josephine’s signature dishes on many occasions; and
WHEREAS, with its delectable home cooking and warm ambiance, Josephine’s Kitchen continues to captivate hearts and palates, making it a cherished culinary destination in the heart of Toledo, Ohio.
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved that:
SECTION 1. that we recognize Josephine’s Kitchen for 12 years of dedicated service to the community.
