Summary

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

Petitioner has filed a request to vacate the remainder of an alley located within the property at 2014 Consaul Street, located in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.

 

NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved that:

 

                     SECTION 1:                      That the City Council does hereby declare its intent to vacate the remainder of an alley located within the property at 2014 Consaul Street, located in the City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, further described below:

 

Being a 7.0 ft. wide alley along the SE line of a plat in the name of “Miles Addition” as recorded in

Volume 15, Page 12 of the Lucas County Recorders Book of Plats, beginning at the SW property line

of Lot No. 12 extended and terminating at a line extended that is 15.0 ft.  NE of the SW property line of Lot No. 14 located in said “Miles Addition”.

 

Also, being a 7.0 ft. wide alley along the NW line of Lot No. 8 of a plat in the name in “Hone’s Subdivision” as recorded in Volume 4, Page 69 of the Lucas County Recorders Book of Plats, beginning at 150.0 ft.  SW of Consaul Street centerline and terminating at 330.0 ft, SW of Consaul Street centerline as measured on said NW line of Lot No. 8.

 

                     SECTION 2.  That this matter be referred to the Toledo City Plan Commission for its review, recommendation and appropriate hearing date.

 

                     SECTION 3.  That this Resolution hereby is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in force and effect from and after its adoption.  The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for the further reason that this Resolution must be immediately effective so that the vacation can be expeditiously completed to enable property owners to obtain the resulting benefits at the earliest time.
