Body

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:

On April 22, 2025, the Council of the City of Toledo passed Ordinance No. 170-25 granting a Special Use Permit (SUP25-0004) for a renovated Soccer/Lacrosse field for the property located at 3535 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio.

Due to delays experienced by the applicant, the Special Use Permit granted by Ordinance No. 170-25 will expire April 22, 2025 pursuant to T.M.C. §1111.0707 because the conditions have been unable to be met. Applicant has requested from City Council a 6-month extension of the Special Use Permit until October 22, 2026 in order to allow additional time so that the project may be completed. Such extension is permitted with Council's approval.
