Body
SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This ordinance authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Auto Return US, LLC for a three-year vehicle tow management agreement. Auto Return US LLC enables more efficient response to towing requests, reducing the amount of time police wait for tow trucks and improving officer safety. This agreement is expected to be cost neutral to the City of Toledo. An administrative fee of twenty dollars is collected for each vehicle towed to the Toledo Police Impound Lot. Bidding was conducted on Planet Bids and Auto Return US LLC was the winning bidder.
