REFERRAL:
Please provide a cross reference report of officers who relocated to Toledo and hostile interactions 3 years prior to and since the inception of the Toledo Police Next Door program to present day.
RESPONSE:
The Toledo Police Next Door Program is run through NeighborWorks, a Toledo Region non-profit community development corporation. The Toledo Police Department does not have any knowledge of who has participated in the program. NeighborWorks was contacted and advised that twenty-one officers have participated in this program since its inception. Ten of those officers moved into the city. However, NeighborWorks would not release the names of the officers who have participated in the program.
