Body

Referral Response:

1.                     How many signs did Traffic replace in the 2025 season and what is expected for 2026?  Crews installed 7045 signs in 2025 and expect a similar number of replacements in 2026.

2.                     How many miles of alley were graded in 2025? What locations?

Here is what I could gather from Citworks/GIS for question #2.

•                     Centerline Miles of Alleys Graded in 2025: 33.16 miles

•                     Attached is a list of locations.

3.                     What is the funding breakdown for the $1.8 mil sidewalk program? By funding source.

•                     $1.8M Homeowner Assessment (the homeowner will be assessed for any damaged/out of specification walks that are along their property or they can choose to perform the work on their own) that are not due to trees in the right of way

•                     $1.2M Tree Assessment (this is the citywide tree assessment fund that will be used to address the cost of impacted tree removal and replacement along with replacing sidewalks raised or damaged by trees in the ROW)

$500,000 CIP (this is for installation/replacement of pedestrian curb ramps and sidewalks along City properties).
