REFERRAL:

How long does TPD have access to the data collected?

How long does the Flock group hold on to the data collected?

Do other jurisdictions need TPD’s permission to use the data collected by Flock?

Do they need a warrant?

RESPONSE:

The Toledo Police Department has access to the data collected for thirty days.

Flock Safety also holds the data collected for thirty days.

Other jurisdictions need permission from the Toledo Police Department to access our Flock LPR data.

A warrant is not needed however, there must be a legitimate law enforcement reason to use the data.
