Did the drone program get the additional 5,000.00? Previously they were turned down.
No. Toledo Tanga Sister Cities declined the original award amount due to the reimbursement requirement of the grant award. Therefore, no additional funding could be awarded to them. We deeply value the quality of work and the positive impact our Tanga Sister Cities bring to the community. At the same time, in order to preserve fairness and credibility in the reimbursement grant process, we must remain consistent in not providing funding upfront.
