Referral Response:
In the next 5 years I recommend replacement of 8 engines, 2 trucks and 10 medics. This would satisfy our replacement schedule of 6 engines and 1 truck every 5 years. We just ordered and are expecting delivery of 4 engines in early 2026. That order should have been 6 engines and 1 truck. We then should order an additional 6 engines and 1 truck with expected delivery in 2030. To be delivered in 2030, they need to be ordered in 2027.
We currently have 15 front line medics. 1 is a 2010, 1 is a 2011, 2 are 2012, 1 is a 2015, 1 is a 2016, 3 are 2019, 4 are 2020, 1 is a 2021 and 1 is a 2023. We have 3 on order which will replace the 2010, 2011 and (1) 2012. We should order 10 which will replace the remaining (1) 2012, (1) 2015, (1) 2016 (3) 2019's and (4) 2020's. This would satisfy our replacement schedule of every 5 years. If those were ordered today, we wouldn’t see them until 2028
