How many Fire/Rescue vehicles will be replaced in 2025?

We will be replacing 1 truck and 2 heavy rescues next year.

How many actually need to be replaced in the next 2 years?

We need to order 2 engines, 8 ambulances and 1 truck ASAP.

Additionally, if we were able to follow our replacement policy, we would have ordered 2 additional engines and 1 truck with the order we placed in early 2024.  That order should have been 6 engines and 1 truck.  They should have been ordered in time to receive and put in service next year, 2025.

We have 4 engines on order with the expected deliver of early 2026.  We have one truck on order which is expected to be delivered before the end of this 2024.  We will be replacing 2 heavy rescues once the new ones arrive.

Both currently heavy rescues will become reserve apparatus.  We will be getting rid of the extra heavy rescue through the auction in the fall of 25.  We should order an additional 8 ambulances to follow our recommended policy of replacement after 5 years of use.
