RESPONSE:
Please reference the below tables that correlate with the above referral. These statistics came directly from our Criminal Intelligence Section.
The shootings category captures nonfatal, discharge of a weapon, shooting into home, shot at, self-inflicted, and other categories. In addition, ShotSpotter discharge detection technology data was added to these numbers as the three devices came online starting in 2019. Because of the ShotSpotter additions at different dates, this data is not able to be compared over the 10 years.
