As we worked to align our budget with available resources we reduced budget items across all departments such as food and forage and training. This effected the Engage Toledo budget related to Customer Service week in the following categories:
1001-1ENGAGETOLEDO-17600-523950 - Other Operation Supplies
• $15,000 for Customer Service Week citywide training
From 1001-1ENGAGETOLEDO-17600-523200 - Food & Forage
• $16,000 for the Customer Service Week food for training
We believe we can still properly celebrate Customer Service Week with our employees by using our internal training resources and recognizing our employees in more cost-effective ways, such as through sponsorships for food as an example.
