REFERRAL:

Regarding Intime solutions contract for police, is this the best price for this software, do comparisons. What other cities in Ohio use it?

RESPONSE:

In-time has been the timekeeping software provider for TPD since 2013.  The annual cost has remained steady at just over $14,000 annually.  This proposed new contract will include cloud storage which is the reason for the increased cost.  The request to go on the cloud was made by ICT and TPD to free up space on the city’s servers.  Any new timekeeping provider will require implementation costs in addition to the cost of the software and cloud storage.  Additionally, there would be switching costs for training employees.  We were able to look at benchmark costs from TFRD’s timekeeping bid process.  We are confident that this contract is the lowest and best option for TPD at this time.

Some cities/agencies in Ohio that use In-Time:

The Ohio State University, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Tiffin Police Department, Columbus Regional Airport Police, Blue Ash Police Department, Whitehall Police Department, Massillon Police Department, and Rossford Police Department

Some cities/agencies outside of Ohio that use In-Time:

Pittsburgh Police Department, New York Department of Corrections and Orange County California Law and Justice Agency
