New Appointment to the Municipal Golf Preservation &  
Engagement Commission  
COUNCIL PRESIDENT HARTMAN PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING 2 ITEMS:  
Approving a Petition For Special Assessments for Special  
Energy Improvement Projects and a Project Plan for the  
Northwest Ohio Advanced Energy Improvement District under  
Chapter 1710 of the Ohio Revised Code for Metropolitan Park  
District of the Toledo Area and 1030 Water Street, Toledo,  
Ohio 43611; to authorize and levy special assessments for the  
purpose of acquiring, constructing, and improving certain public  
improvements in the City of Toledo in cooperation with the  
Northwest Ohio Advanced Energy Improvement District; and  
declaring an emergency.  
Approving a Petition For Special Assessments for Special

COUNCIL MEMBER GADUS PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING ITEM FROM THE  
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT:  
Authorizing the City to enter into agreements with the United  
States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development for loan  
guarantee assistance to provide funds necessary to pay costs of  
acquiring and installing furniture, fixtures and equipment for and  
improving the Delta Hotel by Marriott and its site; authorizing  
the issuance and sale of special limited obligation revenue notes  
to evidence the loan to be obtained under that federal loan  
guarantee assistance program; authorizing the pledge and  
assignment of the City’s present and future community  
development block grants as security for the notes,  
appropriating the proceeds of the notes and authorizing  
expenditure of those funds; authorizing and approving related  
agreements; and declaring an emergency.  
COUNCILMAN HOBBS PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING 2 ITEMS FROM THE  
DEPARTMENT OF POLICE OPERATIONS:  
Authorizing the Mayor to enter into an amended agreement with  
the Toledo Lucas County Board of Commissioners for a  
one-year extension for services provided by Lucas County  
Canine Care and Control; authorizing the General Fund  
expenditure of an amount not to exceed $75,000 from the  
General Fund; waiving the competitive bidding requirements of  
TMC Chapter 187; and declaring an emergency.  
Authorizing the Mayor to accept a grant in the amount of  
$139,471.94 from the State of Ohio for police officer training;  
authorizing the deposit, appropriation and expenditure of said  
funds; authorizing the Mayor to accept bids and award  
contracts; and declaring an emergency.  
COUNCILMEMBER KOMIVES PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING ITEM FROM THE  
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION:  
A Resolution declaring the official intent and reasonable  
expectation of the City of Toledo on behalf of the State

of Ohio (The Borrower) to reimburse its Capital  
Improvements Fund for two projects with the proceeds  
of tax-exempt debt of the State of Ohio; and declaring  
an emergency.  
COUNCILMEMBER KOMIVES PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING ITEM FROM THE  
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SERVICE:  
Amending Ord. 160-24 for the purchase of one additional street  
sweeper truck for Urban Beautification cleaning programs; and  
declaring an emergency.

COUNCILMAN MARTINEZ PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING 2 ITEMS FROM THE  
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC UTILITIES:  
Authorizing the Mayor to enter into contract for the  
purchase of a replacement pump at the Spentlime  
Dewater Facility; authorizing the expenditure from the  
Water Operating Fund in an amount not to exceed  
$32,000; waiving the competitive bidding provisions of  
TMC Chapter 187; and declaring an emergency.  
Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a one (1) year  
agreement with Buckeye Pumps for the purpose of  
providing repair service for the Spentlime Dewater  
Facility pre-fill tank mixer; authorizing the expenditure  
from the Water Operating Fund in an amount not to  
exceed $32,000; waiving the competitive bidding  
provisions of TMC Chapter 187; and declaring an  
emergency.  
COUNCILWOMAN WILLIAMS PRESENTS THE FOLLOWING 2 ITEMS FROM  
THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND YOUTH SERVICES:  
Authorizing the re-appropriation of $48,609.65 within the  
Capital Improvement Fund; authorizing the expenditure of  
same for development of an accessible playground at Schneider  
Park; authorizing the Mayor to enter into necessary  
agreements for said project; and declaring an emergency.  
Authorizing the disappropriation of $400,000 from the Local  
Fiscal Recovery Fund; authorizing the appropriation of

$910,099 from the Local Fiscal Recovery Fund and the  
expenditure of same for the St. Anthony’s Multi-Purpose  
Recreational Space; authorizing the Mayor to enter into an  
agreement with the Lucas County Land Reutilization  
Corporation; and declaring an emergency.  
COUNCILWOMAN MORRIS CHAIR OF ZONING & PLANNING COMMITTEE  
PRESENTS:  
Vacation of a 16-foot-wide alley lying between lot 4 thru  
9 within the plat of Morris and Dorsey's subdivision,  
recorded in Lucas county plat record volume 22 on page  
50 and all within the City of Toledo, Lucas County
