SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Ordinance 254-19 authorized the Mayor to enter into a contract with Enterprise Fleet Management for vehicle and equipment replacement for the city's fleet. The Division of Engineering and Construction Management will utilize this contract to lease vehicles for the Division's construction and inspection operations. Budget for this expenditure is available in the division's operating budget within the CIP project support account.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $90,000 is authorized from the Capital Improvement Fund Account Code 5040-35000-8C35000PROSUP for the purpose of leasing vehicles for the Division of Engineering and Construction Management.

SECTION 2. That the acquisition of replacement vehicles will be procured through the existing Enterprise Fleet Management contract authorized by Ordinance 254-19.

SECTION 3. That the Finance Director is authorized to draw warrant or warrants against the above Account Code in an amount not to exceed $90,000 in payment of all above-authorized obligations upon presentation of proper voucher or vouchers.

SECTION 4. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that the same is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for further reason that the Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to maintain safe, reliable vehicles and equipment for the Division of Engineer...
