SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This ordinance repeals and enacts new section 4 of Ord. 77-22 which authorized Fire's Time Labor Management Software agreement.

Ord. 77-22 authorized Fire's Time Labor Management Software agreement. In the interim and pursuant to 2021-4 L92 CBA Sect. 2125.50, Fire's total staffing may at times fluctuate to a maximum of 650 members, representing a contractual net staffing gain of 100 members and a reciprocal cost increase of $6,000.00 annually or $30,000.00 over the 5-year agreement for a new total contract CIP expenditure of $243,750.00.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:

SECTION 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance 77-22 that reads as follow: "That subject to annual appropriation the expenditure of $149 annually over the term of the agreement authorized in Section 1 is authorized from the General Fund Account Code 1001-53000- 3341002STDSTD for the annual maintenance fee for the time and labor management scheduling software."

is repealed.

SECTION 2. That a new Section 4 of Ordinance 77-22 is enacted to read: That subject to annual appropriation, the expenditure of $6,149 annually over the term of the agreement authorized in Section 1 is authorized from the General Fund Account Code 1001-53000- 3341002SUPSRV for annual maintenance fee and variable user costs for the time and labor management scheduling software.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance is declared an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency lies in the fact that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and property, and for the further reason that this Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to timely implement th...
