Recognizing Rob Ludeman for his service on Toledo City Council.

Summary
WHEREAS, Rob Ludeman is considered to be one of the longest serving members of Toledo City Council; he was first elected to Toledo City Council in November of 1993 and has served for a total of 26 years on Council, first representing District 2 and thereafter in an at large seat, including 20 months serving as President of Council; and

WHEREAS, Rob has left a fingerprint on most areas of the City of Toledo, through his school flashing initiative, Parks zoning and protection, development projects from the Plaskon site to the enterprise zone development that was the beginning of the ultimate location of Amazon; he has shown unwavering commitment to his Alma Mater, Bowsher High School, his neighborhood, his district and the City; and

WHEREAS, Rob has always been able to put political barriers aside and working with all members of Council, the Administration and Mayors, of all political parties regardless and continuing to keep his promise of keeping common sense on Toledo City Council; and

WHEREAS, Rob has served on countless committees over the years, he ended as Chairman of the Budget Oversight Committee and Regional Growth, Development and Small Business Enterprise Committees; and

WHEREAS, Rob will now have the time to further study "Appurtenances" and "Flocculation"; and it should be, after all these years, fully ingrained into the Administration to bring a "picture of their plan"; and

WHEREAS, well known for his dedication, integrity, work ethic, and problem-solving mentality, Rob has always been a voice of calm and reason on Council, and inspired many to enter the field of Public Service; and

WHEREAS, his enthusiasm for the City goes beyond the borders of the City of Toledo, working with other elected officials in the outlying jurisdictions, as well as establishing relationships and ultimately friendshi...
