SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
This is the annual ordinance declaring the necessity of providing sprinkling, sweeping, cleaning and snow removal services for streets, alleys and public ways within the City during the year 2022 and providing for the assessment of the entire cost of those services as authorized by Section 701.05 of the Revised Code. The estimated cost for 2021 was $23,236,270. The total program cost for 2022 is estimated to be $23,445,308.
Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That it is declared necessary to provide sprinkling, sweeping, cleaning and snow removal services in calendar year 2022 (collectively, Services) for the municipal streets, alleys and public ways in the City. For this purpose, the City shall be divided into districts as follows:

Beginning at a point that is 133 feet North of the centerline of Michigan Street and 40 feet Northeast of the centerline of Monroe Street; thence Northeasterly along the Northwesterly line of Lot 548 in "Port Lawrence Division" a plat of Record in the City of Toledo and continuing Northeasterly along the Northwesterly line of Lots 548, 547, 546, 545, 544 and 543 in "Port Lawrence" and continuing along the Northwesterly line of Lots 1463 through 1475 in "Vistula Division" a Plat of Record in the City of Toledo to the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Jackson Street; thence Southeasterly along the Southwesterly right-of-way line of Jackson Street to a point of intersection with the Northwesterly right-of-way line of Michigan Street; thence Northerly along the West right-of-way line of Canton Street to a poin...
