SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The purpose of this ordinance is to provide funding for the Summer Concert Series that is presented by ProMedica in Promenade Park in the summer. The series of concerts kicks off July 9, 2021 and ends with the concerts that are presented as part of the Solheim Cup in September. These concerts bring many regional visitors into the area and provide summer fun in a City of Toledo park on the waterfront.

Summary
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Toledo:
SECTION 1. That the expenditure of $40,000 is authorized from the General Fund Account Code 1001-60500-7000370STDSTD for payment to ProMedica for the purpose of being a collaborative sponsor of the 2021 Summer Concert Series.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is authorized to enter into a sponsorship agreement for the purpose authorized in Section 1, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the Director of Law.
