Summary
WHEREAS, Scout Master Gary C. Crouch, for more than thirty years of service to the youth of the Toledo community with the Commodore Perry District Troop 123, Erie Shores Boy Scouts of America Council, abbreviated "G.C. CROUCH BOY SCOUTS PL"; and

WHEREAS, for Mr. Crouch, Scouting was his calling exemplified by his willingness to be an outstanding mentor; and his knowledge, patience, and life experience was the perfect combination to teach and mold Scouts to become leaders; and

WHEREAS, in Erie Shores Council, the Commodore Perry District (encompassing East Toledo, Downtown, North Toledo, West Toledo to Jackman Road, south to Monroe Street, including the communities of Walbridge, Rossford, Millbury, Northwood, and Oregon; and consist of industrial, rural, suburban, and inner-city communities) takes pride on the youth that participate in our community and feel that they help make Northwest Ohio a better place, and

WHEREAS, the Commodore Perry District is made up of many great scout units that include cub scout packs (grades 1-4 and the fall of 5th grade), boy scout troops (spring of 5th grade up to the age of 18), venturing crews (for young men and women age 13 and above who want more adventure and activity), and exploring posts (with a focus on career preparation in different fields); and

WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, providing a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness; NOW, THEREFORE,
