SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City of Toledo is eligible to receive up to $175,000 in Corona Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) through a grant coordinated by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. The funds can be used for infrastructure improvements at the City of Toledo Prosecutor's Office to allow for safer interactions with the public to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. It also can be used for personnel expenses related to the virus. This ordinance allows the City to accept the funds and to appropriate and expend them as needed at the Prosecutor's Office.
