Title
Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council and to accept and deposit a Corona Emergency Supplemental Funding Grant in the amount of $175,000 for infrastructure improvements at the City of Toledo Prosecutor's Office and for certain personnel expenses at the Prosecutor's Office; authorizing the appropriation and expenditure of said funds from the Operation Grants Fund; authorizing the Mayor to accept bids and enter into contracts; and declaring an emergency.

SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
The City of Toledo is eligible to receive up to $175,000 in Corona Emergency Supplemental Funding (CESF) through a grant coordinated by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council. The funds can be used for infrastructure improvements at the City of Toledo Prosecutor's Office to allow for safer interactions with the public to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. It also can be used for personnel expenses related to the virus. This ordinance allows the City to accept the funds and to appropriate and expend them as needed at the Prosecutor's Office.
