SUMMARY & BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to the authority of Ordinances 442-12 and 336-14, and 238-16 the City entered into successor Memorandums of Understanding (MOU's) with the Lucas County Land Reutilization Corporation (LCLRC), also known as the Lucas County Land Bank, to allow the Department of Inspection, the Department of Public Service and the Department of Public Utilities to provide demolition and maintenance services to the acquired blighted LCLRC properties within the City of Toledo, and to govern other matters between the City and LCLRC. A new updated MOU with the LCLRC is required to utilize current available program funds within the City of Toledo. This Ordinance authorizes the City to enter into a new, updated, and grant compliant MOU with the LCLRC. The new MOU will replace all prior MOU's entered into with the LCLRC.
